Dr. Nicholas Smith feels so blessed that his passion and profession happened to align. Orthodontic treatment had a profound impact on his own life, and he understands the difference a confident smile can make. Dr. Smith knew orthodontics was the perfect mix of art and science he was looking for in a career. He enjoys the precision and complexity required when planning each orthodontic treatment plan, and could not ask for a better group of people with which to work.

Outside the office
Dr. Smith chose to return to Ankeny to build his practice because of the strong community and family values it has to offer. In his free time, you can find him outdoors enjoying a round of golf, a game of tennis, or the day with his wife Julie, a Des Moines area dentist, and their puppy, Riley. They also enjoy traveling.
